Support your local GPs to help them change the face of mens health.

This MOVEMBER we would like to ask you to get behind and encourage four of our GPs from PYB Health as they take on the challenge of changing the face of men’s health.

Each of the team members taking part will be growing a moustache through November to help raise awareness of men’s health issues and to stop men dying too young.

You can donate and follow their progress here.

Meet the Mo Bro’s

Practice Manager & Team Captain – David Blower

Inspired by Dr O’Connor’s efforts last year and my father in law’s ongoing battle against Prostate Cancer the four of us (Dave, David, Dai and Jerome) from two GP surgeries in the PYB Health group are doing Movember for Prostate Cancer Charities and Bridgend Foodbank. Together we can make a difference for men’s health. Help me stop men dying too young.

Dr Dai Brown

I currently work as a GP but prior to this role I worked as an oncology registrar. I have seen first-hand the impact prostate cancer and its treatment has on Men. Many of the patients I look after would have had a much better outcome if they hadn’t ignored their symptoms and booked for a review with their GP sooner. I’m hoping that my terrible attempt at a moustache will act as a conversation starter with patients and the money raised will help fund ongoing research to improve survival.

David and Dai are joined by Dr Jerome Donagh from Oak Tree Surgery and Bridgend Group Practice Manager – Dave Ware
