She spent three and a half years working as a doctor in London before returning home to Wales and completing her GP training in 2018. Her interests in work are acute medicine and mental health. She is also a carer champion, acting as a voice for carers within the practice and is a point of contact for carer information.

read more Dr Ian Harris trained in UWCM Cardiff and qualified as a GP in 2000. He is the practice lead for Epilepsy, ADHD, Anticoagulation and Clinical Governance and has the Diploma in Occupational Health. He is a GP trainer. Special Interests ; Clinical Governance, Medical Education, Sports Medicine/Orthopaedic problems, and Minor (including toenail) surgery.

Dr Jerome Donagh

read more Dr Donagh qualified in 1988 and joined the practice in 1993. He specialises in COPD and diabetes. He additionally carries out work in these areas at the Princess of Wales Hospital. He enjoys music and exercise. He has been performing cosmetic enhancement techniques using Botox ® and Dermal Fillers for 5 years. His band is good if you like loud rock music. Ask him for his next few Gig dates.

read more Henry Shepherd graduated from Edinburgh medical school in 2007. After working as a junior doctor in various locations in South Wales, he completed his GP training in Bridgend in 2013, and completed the RCGP Certificate in the Management of Drug Misuse (part1) in the same year. He became a partner at Oak Tree Surgery in November 2016, where he had already work since August 2012 as a GP trainee, and then as a salaried GP.

read more Qualified from the University of the West Indies, Trinidad in 2002 with the MB BS. Completed GP training in Bridgend 2002. His interests are men’s health, chronic pain, and GP OOH service – He is the Clinical Director for the Cardiff and Vale GP OOH service. Dr Le Maître previously worked with us at Oak Tree as salaried GP.

read more Dr O’Connor joined the practice in 1996. He is the lead GP for diabetes and cardiovascular disease, both within the practice and across the locality. He has outside interests which include sport and golf in particular and with his four boys will soon be taking the world of Five-a-Side by storm.

read more David Blower joined the practice in August 2005. He heads up the business side of the practice, managing the Nursing, Reception, Prescribing, Admin and Support teams,who through their hard work allow the Doctors to get on with what they do best!
He also enjoys spending time with his family playing golf and supporting West Ham United.
